Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) in Northern Ireland

Bradley NI is delighted to announce that Christina McVeigh has been awarded the Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment, enabling us to provide an In-house Energy Performance facility for all clients in Northern Ireland.

What is an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) in Northern Ireland?

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) in Northern Ireland provides potential buyers and tenants with an indication of the energy efficiency of a property in Northern Ireland. The certificate will contain information about the property’s typical energy costs and will recommend ways to reduce energy use to make the property more energy efficient.

First introduced in 2007, an energy performance rating is necessary for properties being sold or rented in Northern Ireland.

Energy Performance Certificates in Northern Ireland are regulated by the Energy Performance of Buildings Regulation 2012 and Bradley NI offer a unique in-house service to customers in Northern Ireland with all EPC's carried out by our experienced Energy Performance Surveyor, Christina McVeigh.

The EPC in Northern Ireland turned 10 years old in August 2017, meaning that homeowners thinking of selling their homes should check their energy performance rating is still valid, as they will not be able to sell their home without one.
